How do I add a watermark to a PDF?
Upload your PDF and choose Text or Image. For text, type your wording and pick the font (Helvetica, Times, or Courier), bold, size, and color. Set the opacity, angle, and position, then click Add watermark and Download.
Can I use my logo as a watermark?
Yes. Choose Image and add a JPG or PNG file, such as your company logo. Its size is set as a percentage of the page width, so it scales evenly on every page.
Can I make the watermark transparent or diagonal?
Yes. Lower the opacity to make the watermark see-through so the content stays readable, and set the angle to rotate it, for example across the page diagonally.
Can I repeat the watermark across the whole page?
Yes. Tick Tile across the page to repeat it over the entire page. Otherwise, pick one of nine positions in a 3 by 3 grid, such as the center or a corner.
Can I watermark only some pages?
Yes. Watermark all pages, or enter a range such as 2-5 to limit it to those pages. The live preview lets you check any page before you save.
Which languages can I use in a text watermark?
Text watermarks support Western European letters, so English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and similar languages work. Some symbols, such as the euro sign, and other alphabets are not supported yet. For those, you can use an image watermark instead.
Can the watermark be deleted like a comment?
No. The watermark is added to the page content itself rather than as a comment or annotation, so it cannot simply be selected and deleted in a PDF reader.
Do I need an account to use this tool?
You can upload a PDF and design your watermark without an account. To download the watermarked PDF, sign in and choose a plan. Plans start with a one-week pass that does not renew automatically.
